Experience a two day long holistic retreat immersion with  Ravi Freeman, Master Musician, Singer & Voice Event facilitator. Co hosted by Luna and Lyndz Jeanne 

Friday evening

Kirtan & Cacao plus fire ceremony 7pm with Ravi

Saturday programme

1. Morning yoga - 10am.

A guided yin class from Luna with a soundscape from Lyndz Jeanne to bring you into a space of surrender, and opening ready to receive

2. Vegan, gluten free lunch 12pm.

3. Overtone Singing and Voice Workshop, exploring different singing practices led by Ravi including Sound and Gong Bath. 2pm - 5pm (including tea break)

6. Vegan, gluten free supper 6pm

7.Evening Kirtan & Cacao with Ravi, plus fire ceremony 7.30pm

Sunday programme

1. Morning wake up yoga/ Movement Medicine/ breathwork with Luna and Lyndz -  10am.

A class to awaken your body and mind.

2. Voice Workshop, exploring different singing practices led by Ravi

3. Vegan, gluten free lunch 12.30pm.

Early Bird full weekend ticket, to be booked by 15th June 2022 £109.00 (Which includes Friday and Saturday evening Kirtan & Cacao)

Full weekend ticket price £129.00 (which includes Friday and Saturday evening Kirtan & Cacao)

Included in weekend ticket prices is camping,  Vegan lunch and supper on Saturday and Vegan breakfast on Sunday, herbal teas and tap water for drinking available all weekend.

Places on this retreat are limited to 30 and we have kept prices as low as possible, so we expect this event to sell out very quickly, therefore early booking advised.

About Ravi:

Ravi is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and one of the longest established Western players of the kora (West African harp). His music is the result of a lifetime exploring the edge, through world music, tribal cultures, throat singing and a journey that has taken him from India to the Amazon.

As well as over 20 CDs, international performances and workshops and the invention of the electric/stereo kora, Ravi has also worked with artists such as Nigel Kennedy, Jon Lord, Phil Manzanera, Baaba Maal, Dr John, Ronu Majumdar and Marlui Miranda.

The most recent albums are “Songs for the Golden Age” and “Two Rivers” with master flautist Adrian Freedman.

As well as devotional singing events, Ravi also offers Overtone Singing and Voice Workshops

About Lyndz: Lyndz Jeanne weaves her threads within the worlds of Yoga,  Sound, Cacao Cermony, and Sharing Songs in gatherings, and in her connections to the land.  Lyndsey has travelled various countries of South and Central America, diving into deep portals of healing work and training as a sound and cacao practitioner, merging song, sound and cacao as a powerful medicine to open the heart and unite us as one tribe.

About Luna: Hatha and Yin Yoga teacher. Drawing on her own journey with Yoga and the lessons in self love, patience and compassion that her practise has gifted her; Luna leads her workshops with the gentle wisdom of someone who knows the gift she is passing on.  She shares " No two visits to the mat are ever the same. The practise of Yin Yoga takes us deeper within, not only working our physical body but allowing us to journey deep into our hidden truth as we gently begin to open and release physically, mentally and emotionally."

About Field of Healing: 

Field of Healing offers a sacred space for Reflection, Reconnection, Healing, Meditation & Prayer.​

Sarah is a healer and energy worker. She created this space to encourage a deep connection to the self; to empower, to inspire and to heal.   You will be able to walk the 11-tier Labyrinth, experience the geometry of Metatrons Cube in the Henge of Oak and Lime trees, and connect with the land and elements.

Facilities:

There are toilets and hot and cold water for washing but no shower facility. There is a small kitchen with hob and kettle to make hot drinks and reheat food and a fridge to store any additional food that you wish to bring.

Parking location and Camping: Tents and vans are allowed and you will be directed on arrival where to park and camp. Parking for day guests will also be directed and we ask that people do not park around the village but use the parking area provided in the field.

Important note: Please be aware before booking that we are a working sacred space and therefore we do not allow drugs or alcohol in the Field of Healing. We are also part of a village community and will therefore expect all visitors to be courteous with regard to noise levels during the evening hours. 

Disability access: We are in a field and whilst we will be as accommodating as we can for anyone with disabilities ( we can bring your vehicle right into the field and help with any carrying that you need for example) there is quite a long walk between the field and toilets and the toilets do not have wheelchair access. What to bring: 

Bring any food and snacks that you need over what your ticket provides

If camping please bring mugs, plate, dish and cutlery

Blankets, cushions, yoga clothing, water bottles for retreat sessions

Camping equipment

Footwear and clothing suitable for a field and all weather conditions. We will be inside a yurt and also out in field so layers and all weather options advisable

Local amenities and places to stay:

It would be lovely if you could camp for the weekend so you can stay immersed in the energy of the land and the space created by the hosts but if you prefer to sleep in comfier conditions then you will find there are a few local AIRBNB, B&B and travel lodge type accommodations. Our post code is PE28 0QR, Bythorn, Cambridgeshire and the nearest town is Thrapston, Northamptonshire which is 3 miles away. Further afield but within 10 miles you have Huntingdon, Raunds, Rushden and Oundle, to help you get your bearings when searching.
